International Registry of Certified Educational Organizations

ISO 21001 focuses on the specific interaction between an educational organization, the learner, customers and other relevant interested parties. Prepared by ISO Project Committee PC/288, and published in 2018, ISO 21001 provides the requirements for a management system for Educational Organizations as well as the guidance for implementing said requirements.

Managed by the Smart Planet Association (SPA), the International Registry of Certified Educational Organizations, (IRCEO) shall recognize those organizations committed to:

• Supporting the acquisition and development of competence through teaching, learning or research;
• Enhancing the satisfaction of learners, other beneficiaries and staff through the effective application of our management system, including processes for improvement of the system and assurance of conformity to the requirements of learners and other beneficiaries.
• Fulfilling the compliance obligations that apply Educational Organization.

Self-Declaration of Commitment to Excellent Performance
Requirement for Listing:
Completion of online form.
Fees:
No fees apply for initial inclusion.

Option 2:
Self-Declaration of Conformance to ISO 21001
Requirement for Listing:
Requires periodic uploading of the evidence of internal audit.
Fees:
Listing service charges will apply.

Option 3:
Provide evidence of Third-Party Certification of conformance to ISO 21001.
Requirement for Listing:
Certification Body must be SPA Approved.
Fees:
Listing service charges will apply.
